HOMER L. THOMPSON COLLECTION - Indian artifact lots #1301 through 1400 in this auction are from the lifetime collection of Homer L. Thompson, b.1891, d.1979, of Anthony Kansas. - An affidavit from his son states these artifacts “were acquired by him during th 1920's, '30's and pre-WWII 40's.  Some might have been purchased during the 50's or 60's, but I am sure that none were acquired in the 70's or later.” - The names identifying various stone items are based on a review of the photos, and are provided for bidder guidance only.  Please review the pieces and make your own i.d.  We do believe them all to be legitimately old and not modern made. - Other antique firearms and blades in this auction are also from the Homer Thompson collection, acquired during the same time period, and are so noted. -
