5 ways to be to be a part of Old Town Station's Live Auctions

  1. Attend the live auction.
If you can attend, this is always the the recommended way to bid. You can inspect the items yourself and draw your own conclusions on value and condidtion, you can watch the live bidding and jump in if a piece is going at the bargain price, you can be sure your bid gets placed correctly, and raise it at the last moment if you decide you're willing to go a smidge more to get a piece you really want. Finally, many bidders find our gun auctions to be lots of fun!
  2. Sealed Absentee Online Bidding.
We've introduced new software that is easier to use for both you and us. As with other absentee bid methods, you simply bid the maximum you're willing to go, and we bid for you, trying to buy as cheaply as possible in competition with other bidders in the auction. Bidding is often left open until the day before the auction, allowing last minute bidding and online changes. It reduces the slight chance of a transcription error when placing a mail or fax bid.
  3. Absentee Mail Bids.
You can download the Absentee Bid Form and e-mail or mail. A good choice if you can't attend and don't want to use the computer. Again, we will try to buy for you as cheap as possible under your stated maximum.
  4. Absentee Fax Bids.
Same advantages as mail bids, plus you can fax bids in as late as the day before the auction. FAX # (785) 862-8811
  5. ProxiBid Online Live Bidding.
We now offer live streaming audio of the auction and the ability to bid live online through the services of proxibid.com/kull. This offers many of the advantages of bidding live during the auction, without having to travel to the auction. Plus, you can do it in your underwear!
